Today's ten words are the ones you'll hear at the office: booking an appointment, bringing your papers, signing and getting your proof of address. With these you'll stay calm at the counter. 🏛️

🇩🇪 A spoonful of German culture
When you move in Germany, you usually have to register your new address within two weeks. You'll need a confirmation from your landlord (Wohnungsgeberbestätigung), so ask for it early.
In big cities, office appointments can be hard to get, so it's worth looking for a Termin online as soon as you know your moving date. Registering your address is usually free, but other services, like a new ID card, come with a Gebühr.
Keep your Meldebescheinigung somewhere safe. Banks, visa offices and phone companies ask for it more often than you'd think. 📄
