How to use it
States a general rule of life or nature, often like a proverb or advice.
Forming it
| 실수하다 | → 실수하는 법이다 |
| 오다 | → 오는 법이에요 |
| 있다 | → 있는 법이에요 |
| 쓰다(맛) | → 쓴 법이에요 |
Not for one specific event. -는 법이 없다 means 'never (does)': 그는 약속에 늦는 법이 없어요.
Examples
누구나 실수하는 법이에요.
Everyone makes mistakes.
좋은 약은 입에 쓴 법이에요.
Good medicine always tastes bitter.

-기 마련이다 is almost the same; -기 십상이다 only predicts bad results under a condition.
