🇩🇪 A spoonful of German culture

Many children in Germany learn the recorder (Blockflöte) at primary school. Most areas also have a music school (Musikschule) where children and adults take lessons.

Be careful when practising in a flat. Many buildings have quiet times (Ruhezeit), for example at night, around midday or on Sundays. The details depend on your building's house rules (Hausordnung), so check first.

This is Bach's country, and churches often host organ concerts. Many are free or ask only for a donation, so keep an eye on the noticeboard outside. 🎶
