How to use it
Shows the means, medium or go-between — a person, media, an experience or a process — through which something is done or learned.
Forming it
| 친구 | → 친구를 통해서 |
| 여행 | → 여행을 통해 |
| 인터넷 | → 인터넷을 통해서 |
Takes the object particle: ✗ 친구에 통해서 → 친구를 통해서. Before a noun: N을/를 통한 N.
Examples
저는 친구를 통해서 지금의 남편을 만났어요.
I met my husband through a friend.
여행을 통해 많은 것을 배울 수 있어요.
You can learn a lot through travel.
