N(이)라도
at least N, N or something (not ideal, but acceptable)
Level 3 · TOPIK II · intermediate
How to use it
Shows that N is not the best choice but is acceptable as a second option. Usually with suggestions, requests or wishes. With question words it means 'any…': 누구라도, 언제라도.
Forming it
Don't use it for plain facts in the past: ✗ 어제 라면이라도 먹었어요 (to mean 'I ate ramen').
Examples
If there's no rice, shall we at least eat ramen?
If you're too busy to come, at least give me a call.
