How to use it
Offers a free choice between options (-든지 -든지): it doesn't matter which. With question words: 뭐든지 'anything', 언제든지 'anytime', 어디든지 'anywhere'. Short form -든.
Forming it

| 먹다 | → 먹든지 |
| 학생 | → 학생이든지 |
| 언제 | → 언제든지 |
Don't confuse it with -던지 (looking back: 얼마나 춥던지 'it was so cold'). 춥든지 ≠ 춥던지.
Examples
커피를 마시든지 차를 마시든지 마음대로 하세요.
Drink coffee or tea, whatever you like.
궁금한 게 있으면 언제든지 연락하세요.

Compared with similar patterns
-거나 simply lists alternatives ('or'); -든지 stresses that any choice is fine; -아/어도 'even if' is a concession, not a choice.
